An introduction to diving
Welcome to the home of diving in the East Midlands. Diving involves a huge amount of strength, flexibility and courage, with athletes performing spins, twists and somersaults into a pool from a series of heights.
Heights of the boards range from 1m all the way up to 10m. Divers need to perform their dive then enter the water as smoothly and cleanly as possible to impress a group of judges.

Diving in the East Midlands
There is just one diving club in the East Midlands; Corby Steel Diving Club in Northamptonshire.
The club are based at East Midlands International Pool in Corby. They offer diving lessons for newcomers as well as coaching for those wanting to compete in local and national competitions.
